This artwork was featured in the exhibition: GEO: Art of the Collection, in August 2019. This was a collaboration between Geoscience Australia and the ANU School of Art & Design, in response to Geoscience Australia's vast and marvellous collection of rocks, minerals, crystals and fossils.
The opportunity to interact with Geo-science Australia’s extensive mineral, gemstone and fossil collection in October 2018 was a wonderful experience. This mixed media collage contains individual artworks of Calcite, Cerussite, Agate, Mica, Chalcedony, Anglesite and Azurite created during the artists’ open day and from photographs provided by GA of their 700 items on permanent display.
